CNBC reported that Medicare's GLP-1 Bridge program begins July 1, offering $50-per-month access to approved obesity medications. The piece noted that Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly shares were set to benefit, as the program could unlock 15 to 20 million new patients across Medicare's Part D. Eligibility requires a BMI of 35 or above, or a BMI of 30 to 35 combined with at least one qualifying comorbidity such as uncontrolled hypertension, prediabetes, or chronic kidney disease.
