LexisNexis records that Regulation (EU) 2026/1384 of the European Parliament and of the Council, addressing the negative trade-related effects of global overcapacity on the EU steel market, was published in the Official Journal on June 24 and entered into force on June 25, with application from July 1. EEA members (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) are exempt. Unused quarterly volumes can be carried over to the following quarter within the same application year during the first year.
