Al Jazeera reported Russia's defence ministry claimed 660 Ukrainian drones were shot down over more than a dozen regions including Moscow, Crimea, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. Russia denied reports of seeking Belarusian military participation in the war. The overnight barrage followed Russia's mass missile attack on Ukrainian cities the previous evening.
