Israeli liberal-centre, US-brokered deal framing

Times of Israel reported that Israel and Lebanon signed a US-brokered framework deal on June 26 envisaging a partial IDF withdrawal from two pilot zones, accompanied by a $100 million US humanitarian pledge. The withdrawal is not on a fixed timetable and is conditioned on Hezbollah disarmament; Israel retains the core security zone south of the Litani River. Israeli envoy confirmed no fixed timetable.
